Description

More than a year has passed since the new Rules of Procedure of the Boards of Appeal have entered into force. A major change in the new Rules of Procedure is the approach to be taken by the Boards when deciding on the admittance of late-filings.

Marcus Müller, Chairman of Board 3.3.02 will give his view on case law that has been developed on this issue. He will in particular explain on the basis of concrete examples how the Boards deal with late-filings under the new Rules of Procedure.

David Molnia will address the impact the Rules of Procedure have on the practice of a practitioner both during appeal proceedings as well as during opposition proceedings.
