Description
The paper C workshop will provide you with an interactive step-by-step course for approaching paper C of the EQE by in-depth discussion of two past papers.
Key Topics
- Discussion of what is needed in the paper including the attacks to be made and where to find the information for the attacks on the claims
- Refresh the basics of novelty and inventive step including how to identify the closest prior art document from the prior art provided
- Work through two papers C addressing the attacks to be made with practical approaches and suggestions
- Time management
The workshop comprises 8 live sessions over a period of 4 weeks.

Target group
The Paper C workshop is aimed at epi Students who have recently passed the pre-examination and are beginning their preparation for the full examination. The workshop will also be of benefit to epi Students who will be resitting Paper C.

In order to attend the workshop participants need a computer with an internet browser and a high-speed broadband internet connection. For the live session, epi uses ZOOM. Security settings on local Firewalls need to be checked. In order to make full use of the live session, we recommend to use headsets.
To access to the sessions epi sends out the links and guidelines for participants shortly before the workshop starts.
