Description
Have you ever thought about all the things to take into account before drafting and filing a patent application up to the last step of the grant process? This course presents all the relevant ones you should consider.
This self-paced training course deals with all the important steps and questions you need to clarify before starting to draft an application up to the formal and substantive aspects you have to take into account during prosecution. The course is introduced by videos and guides you through the different topics which are discussed at conceptual level and illustrated with practical examples. The course includes tests (quizzes) and assignments.
You have the possibility to obtain a certificate for this course if you have successfully completed the four quizzes. The certificate will be provided by epi.
A quiz is successfully passed with a score of 70%. Your results are shown in a review available at the end of each attempt. You can repeat the quizzes as often as you like. The best result will be taken into account.
During the course you can also work on assignments (there are three of them). Note that these assignments are optional and won’t be taken into consideration for obtaining the certificate.
Course is composed in four chapters:
- Pre-drafting
- Drafting
- Formal aspects of prosecution
- Substantive aspects of prosecution
