The transition to the Unified Patent Court (UPC) has brought new dynamics to many aspects of European patent litigation — including the handling of cease-and-desist letters. Previously addressed by national laws, these pre-litigation tools have been subject to divergent practices across jurisdictions, raising questions about consistency and legal certainty in the new UPC era. In this webinar, Moritz Bloser, will explore how cease-and-desist letters have been treated in Germany and how those practices compare with emerging trends in the UPC.

In order to attend the on-line course participants need a computer with an internet browser and a high-speed broadband internet connection. For the webinar, epi uses Zoom. Security settings on local Firewalls need to be checked. In order to make full use of the webinar session, we recommend to use headsets.

To access to the webinar epi sends out a link and the guidelines for participants shortly before the webinar.
