In this webinar, learn how the EPO assesses inventive step (Art. 56 EPC) for inventions combining technical and non-technical features. Our speakers Alexandre Lebkiri and Maël Barbier explain the "Comvik Approach", show you how to frame the technical problem, and share practical tips for drafting and prosecution. Perfect for patent practitioners and anyone dealing with software, AI, or any mixed-type invention patents. The webinar will be moderated by Chris Mercer.

A recording will be made available afterwards to registered participants on our epi learning platform.

Technical requirements
In order to attend the on-line course participants need a computer with an internet browser and a high-speed broadband internet connection. For the webinar, epi uses Zoom. Security settings on local Firewalls need to be checked. In order to make full use of the webinar session, we recommend to use headsets.

To access to the webinar epi sends out a link and the guidelines for participants shortly before the webinar.
