In many opposition proceedings before the EPO and nullity/revocation proceedings before the competent courts, public prior use plays a significant, sometimes even decisive role. This webinar will focus on how to identify, substantiate, and prepare for such public prior uses, ensuring that issues with delayed submissions are minimized. Additionally, we will discuss strategies for defending against alleged public prior use as a patent holder. Topics will include methods of evidence collection and presentation, providing a comprehensive guide for handling these legal challenges. In order to attend the on-line course participants need a computer with an internet browser and a high-speed broadband internet connection. For the webinar, epi uses Zoom. Security settings on local Firewalls need to be checked. In order to make full use of the webinar session, we recommend to use headsets.
