Description

Sufficiency of disclosure is one of the fundamental requirements for European patent applications and patents granted by the European Patent Office, as well as a ground for revocation in EPO oppositions and before the Unified Patent Court.  This webinar will provide an overview of the EPO Guidelines for Examination, as well as relevant and recent Board of Appeal case law. This session will also explore the interplay with other EPC requirements such as clarity and inventive step, as well as highlight practical tips and considerations from the perspectives of patent applicants, proprietors and challengers.

The presenter, Leythem Wall, is a European and UK patent attorney specialising in EPO Oppositions and Appeals in the chemical, consumer products, energy, material, mechanical, medical and pharmaceutical sectors.
