Committee Elections
Elections to Committees according to Article 18B of the By-Laws of the Institute conducted in the election year (Committee elections) are carried out by the Institute in accordance with the Founding Regulation, the By-Laws and in the manner laid down below.
Elections of Committees according to Article 18B of the By-Laws at the end of the term of such Committees (General Committee elections) shall be carried out by an internet-based election procedure and shall be subject to validation by the Council at the autumn Council meeting of each election year.
Any epi member can declare willingness to be a candidate for the election to a Committee by submitting the completed nomination form.
The nomination form and the list of candidates can be found on the left-hand navigation bar by selecting the respective Committee.
Deadlines for the Committee elections 2026:
Nomination phase, all epi members may nominate themselves.
- 13 May 2026 - Opening of the Nomination process
- 10 June 2026 - Closing of the Nomination process
- 24 June 2026 (at the latest) - Publication of final list of candidates for election
Election phase, all Council members are entitled to vote (online voting).
- Latest 8 July 2026 - Indication of preferred candidate (individuals or constituencies can indicate a candidate they prefer)
- 29 July 2026 - Start of online voting
- 12 August 2026 - Closure of voting
- 9 September 2026 - Publication of results
Objections
- 16 September 2026 - Deadline for objections
Validation at autumn Council meeting
- 21 November 2026 – At C103 validation of the results of the election
