1.Auditor election 2026

The Council shall elect, for the term of office of Council members, two auditors and a deputy for each of them.
No auditor or deputy-auditor shall be a member of the Board or a member of a Committee dealing with financial matters of the Institute. At least one auditor and his deputy-auditor shall be a Council representative.

Task of the Auditors:
The auditors are responsible for the audit of the accounting of the institute. They are responsible for the definition of scope and extent of the audit which concerns the accounts, the administration of assets and the internal rules. The detailed audit and the detailed audit report are executed by a firm of accountants (German version «Treuhandgesellschaft»). A yearly written report of the auditors together with specific requests as well as a request for the release of the treasurer, are subject to the vote of Council members during the Council Spring meeting of the following year.
