The Electoral Committee shall consist of 3 members.
Task of the Committee:
The Electoral Committee set up by the Council under Rule 4 of the Rules for election of Council, shall ensure the smooth running of the elections. Vote counting is automated, so the committee's role focuses on managing the inputs and outputs of the electronic nomination and voting systems in close collaboration with the epi Secretariat. Beyond the technical aspects, this includes handling exceptional situations involving nominees and voters to ensure a fair election in accordance with the established Rules for Election of Council.
The committee's work begins in early summer 2025 with a review of the epi Secretariat’s preparations for informing and engaging epi members. It includes one meeting in November 2025 and another in March 2026, concluding with congratulating the newly elected Council at its first meeting in spring 2026.
