2.By-election - epi-Finances Committee

The Committee shall have a maximum of ten full members none of them being a Board member

Task of the Committee:

The Committee shall advise on the preparation of the budget and make proposals for the financial planning and financial management of the Institute. It is empowered to consider all financial matters of the Institute.

What is expected from a member of this committee?

The epi-Finances Committee meets twice per year, generally about one month before the epi Council meeting, i.e. March/April and September/October. One meeting is via video conference and the for the other meeting we meet in presence, generally in Munich. The meeting is a one day meeting.

In preparation of the meetings the members receive on beforehand an overview of the financial situation of epi , in particular with respect to the budget. During this meeting those figures and also the budget are discussed.
