2.Committee election - Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee
Size:
The Committee shall have a maximum of twelve full members. To ensure equitable geographic participation and cultural diversity, no more than two full members may come from the same constituency.
Task of the Committee:
The Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Committee shall promote the values of diversity, equity and inclusion and support the implementation of the D&I Policy as adopted by Council.
In particular, the DEI Committee shall assist the President, Presidium , Board. Council. Auditors and Committees, including the Disciplinary Committee, in DEI-related aspects with the profession. The DEI Committee shall provide information to epi members in connection with the D&I Policy.
Terms of reference
Please note that, unlike e.g. the EPPC or the Biotech Committee, the DEI Committee is not a national quota Committee. There can be several candidates from the same constituency, but only the 12 candidates with the most votes will be elected to the Committee, with the caveat that no more than 2 members may come from the same constituency.
