Nominations Committee
Size:
The Nominations Committee consists of a maximum of 6 members, elected by the Council and not standing for election or reelection as an officer of the Board, i.e. President, Vicepresident, Secretary General, Treasurer, or deputy when applicable. A majority of members are current or former officers of the Board.
Task of the Committee:
The NC is one of the smaller epi Committees, with a maximum of 6 members, whereby a majority of the members need to be current or former officers of the Board (President, Vicepresident, Secretary General, Treasurer, or deputies). The NC is mainly active during the interim between two epi Council terms. The main task of the Nominations Committee is to ensure that candidates for all Board’s positions are standing for election during the first Council meeting of a new term.
What is expected from a member of this committee?
Meetings of the Committee, organized by the chair, are normally carried out by video conference. Board and Council meetings are also an occasion for informal exchanges between the members of the Committee present at these meetings.
